WEEKEND INSTRUCTIONS DUNKESWELL
Round 6 - Champions Finale
Championship final rounds always feel extra special, to be going back to Dunkewswell just adds to this years excitement, it’s a quality venue with terrific facilities and iconic status with the South West drivers.
Grids are done, programs being printed, we’re about to set off and just remembered….weekend details, eek, so here they are:
You can arrive to setup during the day.
Please only park in the pit bays you have reserved, speak to reception at the circuit if you are not sure - it’s better than having to move later!
For non reserved it’s first come first served.
SATURDAY PRACTICE 27th Sept
08:00 SIGN ON in main reception
08:50 First session on Dummy Grid please
8min Practice in Rotation
There will be a lunch break time (To be confirmed).....
Sat PM TRANSPONDERS MUST BE USED
16:00 (ish) SATURDAY HEATS
•? ?250 Classic / 125 P&R / 210 Historic
SUNDAY RACE DAY 28th Sept
08:00 SIGN ON - For Sun only drivers
09:20 First session on dummy grid please
TROPHY PRESENTATION - 30 minutes after last race finishes
•? ?3 lap transponder checks.
(Changes may be applied due to reasons outside our control - note for wet races we may need to reduce by 2 laps to keep to time)
Lunch break after 2nd Heats.
Grids, live timing & results published on Alpha.
RUNNING ORDER - Both Days
250 Classic / 125 P&R / 210 Historic
KART RECOVERY will be EVERY OTHER SESSION ONLY.
This applies to practice day as well as race day.
And if we need to preserve further the length of the finals we reserve right to apply NO RECOVERY during the finals.
Scooters, Bikes & and any motorised devices are not allowed under any circumstances
The usage o f drones is only with prior approval from Dunkeswell Raceway, ATC and the neighbouring airfield
Dogs must stay o n a lead while the circuit is live and mess picked up
The woods and Laser Tag areas are strictly out of bounds
Personal BBQs are allowed when the circuit is not live, any damage to the grass of venue will be charged
Ball games are not prohibited when the circuit is live
No access to the track once racing has finished
No food vans or stands are allowed on site under any circumstances
There must b e no excessive music played 2100 - 0900
Karts must be pushed around the venue on a trolley, and karts must not be driven outside of the circuit
Any persons caught acting outside o f the above rules could b e asked to leave the premises. Dunkeswell Raceway pride ourselves on the aesthetics o f our circuit and will accommodate all customers that abide b y our rules. We will not tolerate any individual who does not respect the circuit and our rules.
GARAGE / SCRUTINEERING / SAFETY CHECKS
You MUST complete the SCRUTINEERING DECLARATION in the members area of the website and your equipment details in the SCRUTINEERING AREA in the members area. It is the drivers responsibility, please ensure it is all correct.
Our scrutineer Mr Kev Gray will be:
•? ?SAFETY CHECKS - Roaming the dummy grids on Saturday performing safety checks / available for advice
•? ?COMPLIANCE CHECKS - After all heats & finals
Paul Mitchell from Josh East team will be with us as official photographer this weekend. As always if you need anything bespoke please contact Paul or Josh directly.
As a reminder incase anyone missed it:
•? ?TKM - All TKM classes slick tyres are Maxxis Sport
•? ?FA & 100NAT - All FA & 100 National classes have choice of WET tyres either Komet K1 OR Maxxis FIA MW Wet can be used, your choice.
